Gelato, Beer & Raptors

Madisono's has teamed up with Rheingeist Brewery and RAPTOR, Inc to create two very special custom flavors: Chocolate Ink (Madisono's Dark Chocolate Gelato and Rheingeist Ink Stout) and Panther Gelato (our neutral base with Panther Beer). Sound good? You'll get only one night to try these flavors at the Charitable Suds Night on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Part of Madisono's mission is to promote charitable organizations, and one organization that is very close to our hearts is RAPTOR, Inc. Jeff, our Madisono's account representative volunteers for this non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of raptors. You can find Jeff climbing up trees to tag local raptors and dashing away from swim meets to rescue them as well.

Raptor, Inc is a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of birds of prey through rehabilitation, education, and community service. They hold the proper state and federal permits that allow the organization to rehabilitate over 250 birds of prey annually and deliver over 350 educational presentations each year at schools, libraries, senior centers, and other community events. The volunteers at Raptor, Inc strive to protect raptor habitat and educate the public about the importance of birds of prey to our environment.

FUN RAPTOR FACT: Raptor, Inc set up a RaptorCam last year while a pair of Peregrine Falcons were nesting so eager birders could literally get a "bird's eye view" of the chicks. Read more about where those Cincinnati Falcons are now here.
